You'll also be able to see weekly statistics on your reach (how many people you reached with your posts), impressions (how many times your posts were shown), and audience growth.
From this data, you can work out your conversion rate.
Conversion rate = # of new followers over the past week / # of people who have viewed your profile
The goal is to keep working to increase that conversion rate, because visiting your profile means they are interested in learning more about you and what you have to offer.
This is a fun one, as you can get some really interesting data such as:
city/country they are located;
Having a very clear picture on what your audience looks like can help you tailor your messaging and target your ads.
FIND OUT THE BEST TIME TO POST
You can also find out the most popular time your audience is on Instagram. This can be a real game-changer, as you can then schedule your posts for these times.
And don't forget to pay close attention to the day of the week! You may find that the most popular time changes depending upon what day of the week it is.
LINKS IN STORIES
Website links are always a tricky one to deal with on Instagram, since it doesn't provide any linking capabilities in post captions. Plus you only get one link in your profile.
That's where Stories come into play....Instagram does allow for links. You see accounts using this feature when you see a "swipe up" when viewing a story.
Currently it's only available for accounts with 10k+ followers or verified accounts....but Instagram might change that in the future.
